We are 501c3 nonprofit and we are all volunteers so every penny goes to the care of the animals. With the economic downturn facing the United States, many people are losing their jobs and homes.

They depend on funds that are either privately donated, acquired from grants or through major organizations like SPCA International that seeks to develop and utilize a worldwide platform that both supports independent animal shelters and promotes the safety of animals.

In the lives of the dogs we SAVE everyday. Kitten Rescue was founded in the spring of 1997 and has grown to be one of the largest and most respected animal welfare groups in Los Angeles. Founded in 2006, Dogs Without Borders is a non profit 501-c-3 rescue organization based in Los Angeles, California.

It has been estimated that 60{fbb776f8dab57fd66ddeb6f7effb60e483a53eea7695a256eca5ddec6b99fcb7} of dogs and 70{fbb776f8dab57fd66ddeb6f7effb60e483a53eea7695a256eca5ddec6b99fcb7} of cats that arrive in animal shelters are euthanized every year, due to limited space and resources. No matter the location or scale of the deployment, the ASPCA is prepared to take on animal cruelty cases when needed—from initial investigations to the final placement of rescued animals in homes.

Founding any animal rescue is not for the faint of heart. Each adoption fee helps us save another dog in need and ensures we can keep making a difference in the lives of shelter dogs for years to come. While in rescue, our dogs live in foster homes where they receive food, warm beds, toys and love from their foster families, including valuable socialization, crate training and house training.

Thousands of animals come through the Animal Rescue League of Iowa’s doors every year, but no matter how they got here or where they came from, they’re provided with shelter, nourishing food, individualized medical treatment, behavioral rehabilitation when necessary, and most important: love.

We (the County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control) can only accept and process animal noise complaints—including barking dog complaints—from residents of our service area. SEACCA (Southeast Area Animal Control Authority) provides service to this area.

Currently evidence animals are held in specials areas of the shelter where they can not be seen by the general public and therefore do not have a chance of being adopted. Many of these animals are scared because of mistreatment and abusive the staff at the centers makes sure they calm the dogs down before attempting to clean or wash the dog.
