We are excited to introduce our rescue animals currently seeking forever homes! Although mixed breeds are the most common type of animal you’ll find, pure breeds appear in shelters more than you might think. National Aquarium Animal Rescue depends on the generosity of volunteers to operate, but medical equipment, medications, and food for these animals is expensive.

We also have a first-time subscriber special offer — we’ll vaccinate a shelter animal if you are new to our family of websites. Last year we rescued over 3,100 animals from immediate danger and distress, and our ambulances logged over 120,000 miles saving the innocent.

All adoption services end 30 minutes before the ARL closes, so please plan to arrive at least one hour before closing if you plan to visit with the animals. Under no circumstances will the County or DACC be liable to you for any consequential, incidental, or special damages, including any lost profits or loss of data, even if you claim to have notified County or DACC of such damages, or for any claims by third parties.

These Terms of Use, Terms of Payment, the Privacy & Security Policy, and any other terms and conditions posted on the DACC Website constitute the entire agreement between you and DACC relating to your access to and use of this Website and supersede any prior or contemporaneous representations or agreements.

Please note that in addition to making a payment using the Online Payment Service, payments to DACC can also be made by mail or in person. The role of the rescue groups is to take animals from shelters that would otherwise be euthanized due to lack of space or health issues, and find permanent and loving homes for these animals.

We recommend bringing any children and dogs (if appropriate) to visit when you come to adopt.
