Hopalong Animal Rescue
We are excited to introduce our rescue animals currently seeking forever homes! A true rescuer puts the needs of the animals first. We now have more hard-to-place and longer term animals in our care, and we provide assistance to the shelter with on-site adoptions. Adopters must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver’s license or picture ID, provide proof of address, and sign an adoption contract.
Yet sadly, some organizations call themselves “shelters” when in fact they are actually hoarding animals or running pet shops for the purpose of turning a profit. Rather, we are a networking organization enabling us to save more dogs’ lives by collaborating with existing rescues and shelters.
Hopalong & Second Chance Animal rescue are committed to eliminating the euthanasia of adoptable animals in Northern California through adoption and prevention services. Once you’ve received adoption approval from All Aboard Animal Rescue, check our website for adoptable dogs The website will be up to date every Monday evening.
When you choose a pet from an animal shelter, be prepared to go through an interview and application process. The Department also provides post-operative pain medication for pets that have been spayed or neutered. Brother Wolf’s adoption process is designed to help make lasting matches between animals in our care and great new families.
Second Chance Dog Rescue is one of San Diego’s largest and most successful non-profit 501c3 organizations dedicated to saving homeless dogs. You may also make your payment in person at any County of Los Angeles animal care center. Most of the dogs that come into shelters will be euthanized, but thanks to dog rescue, many of these dogs do eventually find a stable home. Submit your complaint in writing either by sending a letter to the County animal care center that serves the area where you live or by completing the online form located below.
The amount of time a dog stays in “foster care” varies depending on the needs of the dog. Some pets need a break from the shelter while waiting for a forever home. Some shelters are so full and there is no other option for them but to put down the animals. The stories of the animals are extraordinary, and the triumph of returning a healthy animal to the wild is the reason that Animal Rescue volunteers have dedicated tens of thousands of hours since Animal Rescue’s inception.
Spearheaded by Galit Reuben and backed by hard-working, dedicated volunteers, DWB stands behind their dogs offering their clients advice and support for the duration of their dogs’ lives to ensure happy and successful Without Borders does not have a facility and relies solely on foster volunteers to house and care for their rescue dogs until they are adopted.
