Animal Rescue Los Angeles
We are excited to introduce our rescue animals currently seeking forever homes! Animal Rescue works directly with NOAA, USFWS, Maryland Department of Natural Resources, and regional and national stranding partners to respond to stranded animals and collect data used to better understand aquatic animals that are still very much a mystery to modern science.
No one wants to see dogs euthanized alone, without loving owners to memorialize them with pet urns or pet head stones, so these rescues are highly valued within the pet community. In addition, some of these groups take animals that live in kill shelters or as strays living on the streets.
Thousands of animals come through the Animal Rescue League of Iowa’s doors every year, but no matter how they got here or where they came from, they’re provided with shelter, nourishing food, individualized medical treatment, behavioral rehabilitation when necessary, and most important: love.
Seeing animals suffer, constantly struggling for funds, watching as people dump their animals in your lap, can all take its toll. We are working to coordinate and support additional relief flights for displaced animals that are moving north for rescue. Volunteer opportunities are wide-ranging and include everything form brushing and grooming the animals to assisting at adoption events.

Second Chance Dog Rescue is one of San Diego’s largest and most successful non-profit 501c3 organizations dedicated to saving homeless dogs. You may also make your payment in person at any County of Los Angeles animal care center. Most of the dogs that come into shelters will be euthanized, but thanks to dog rescue, many of these dogs do eventually find a stable home. Submit your complaint in writing either by sending a letter to the County animal care center that serves the area where you live or by completing the online form located below.
It’s important that you spend time getting to know prospective pets to ensure that they are a good fit for your family and lifestyle. The residents of the northern city where this incident has occurred say that these dogs have been constantly interbreeding and roaming in this area for years; these dogs have been starving for days and are desperate enough to kill and eat a child.
This criminal now lives in a cell far roomier than the animals housed in our City & County Shelters, but at least he is unable to hurt any more dogs – at least for the time being. Adopt Me Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that relies on their volunteers to save lives.
